Our Approach

We’ll talk through your space, your style, your inspiration, your existing pieces, and your budget. I’ll turn all of that into a complete, shoppable design with direct links to every selected item. You purchase everything directly, and I stay involved from the initial concept through installation.

No trade accounts. No designer markup. No unnecessary layers.

How It Works

  • We start with a discovery call to talk through your space and what you’re looking for.

    I want to know what you’re saving on Pinterest and Instagram, what you love, what you hate, what you already own, and what you want to change.

    For local projects, I’ll come measure your space. For remote projects, you’ll provide the measurements and information I need to get started.

  • I take everything we uncover and turn it into a cohesive design.

    Depending on your space, that might include mood boards, furniture selections, layouts, styling direction, or whatever else is needed to make the vision clear.

    Every selected item comes with a direct purchase link, so you know exactly what you’re buying and where to buy it.

  • You’ll review the design and we’ll make sure everything feels right before you start purchasing.

    Want to see another sofa? Change the rug? Try a different direction? That’s part of the process.

    Once the design is approved, you’ll purchase the agreed-upon selections directly from the provided links.

  • Once everything has arrived, we’ll schedule your installation.

    I’ll come to your space and put the design together, from furniture placement to the final styling details.

    Then we’ll have the finished space professionally photographed.

  • Touch Grass does not purchase furniture or decor on your behalf. You purchase directly from the provided retailers.

  • There are no designer markups on products. Your design fee covers the design service.

  • The design is created as a complete vision, so approved selections are expected to be purchased as part of the project.

  • Additional revisions or requests for additional options after the initial design are billed hourly.

  • For remote projects, clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements. If incorrect measurements result in a piece not fitting, responsibility for that issue falls to the client. Product dimensions should always be verified before purchasing.

  • Retail availability can change. If an item becomes unavailable, we’ll work together to find an appropriate replacement. Additional design work may be billed at the standard hourly rate.

  • Construction, remodeling, custom millwork, built-ins, and technical drawings are not included in this service.

What if I want to make changes?

You can. The initial design fee includes the initial design direction. Additional revisions or options are billed hourly.

How much does it cost?

Projects are quoted based on the space and scope. We’ll discuss your project before you decide to move forward.
